We are in the financial services industry in order to help others achieve their dreams. Yes, we are in the business of money, but we are also in the business of time. We seek to have a direct and lasting impact in our clients lives by creating a higher standard of care to offer investment, financial, tax and estate planning for every stage of life.
Ultimately we help clients find meaning in their life by allowing them to have the ability financially to choose how to spend their precious time.
Our Team
Cathie Galbraith Coleman, CFP®
Managing Director | Financial Advisor
She splits her time between Fort Worth and Abilene, Texas where she and her husband manage family ranch operations and remain active in their communities. Cathie has served on boards including St. John’s Episcopal School and The Community Foundation of Abilene, and co‑founded First Serve, a youth tennis program for refugee families and later volunteered with the Young Men’s Service League across North Texas.
Outside the office, Cathie is passionate about outdoor adventure—including skiing, hiking, fly fishing, and tennis. Notable milestones include summiting Mount Kilimanjaro (19,341 feet) in 2014 and heli‑skiing in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado with her son in 2026.

Gerald Galbraith
Managing Director | Financial Advisor
Gerald Galbraith is the founding leader of the family team, The Galbraith Group. He began his career in the financial industry in 1964, and established the A.G. Edwards branch office in Abilene, Texas in 1984 serving as the branch manager for 25 years.
Gerald graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech University, blending his analytical skills with a passion for financial stewardship. For over six decades, he has provided peace of mind to his clients, guiding them through their financial journeys with care and expertise.
Active in his community, Gerald has held leadership roles including President of Hospice of Abilene (currently Hendricks Hospice) and served on boards of the Abilene Chamber of Commerce, YMCA, Western Heritage Classic, and The United Way. He is currently involved in the Abilene Exchange Club, Speaker’s Club and serves on the Big Country Hall of Fame as well as serves as Treasurer for Beefmaster Breeders United.
He was married to Christie Smith Galbraith for 60 years until her passing in March 2021. Together, they raised two children, Cathie Coleman and Greg Galbraith. and were blessed with four grandchildren – Drake and Sam Coleman, Greta Galbraith Reid, and Gabe Galbraith. Recently the family welcomed their first great-grandaughter, Rosie Reid.
In his free time, Gerald enjoys learning about history and enjoys spending time outdoors with family and ranching.
Amy Hall, CFP®, MPAS®

Amy Hall joined The Galbraith Coleman Group in 2022, bringing with her a passion for serving others. Amy is a Certified Financial Planner® professional. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Black Hills State University and her master’s degree in Personal Financial Planning from The College for Financial Planning.
Amy has always had an entrepreneurial spirit. As a child she started several small businesses including a neighborhood newspaper and a vegetable stand. This spirit continued into adulthood with her owning and managing several successful ventures. Through her small business experience, she developed a special interest in finance. While in college, she worked for a financial planning firm which sparked a lifelong passion for helping people with their personal finances.
Amy holds a special place in her heart for military and veteran families. The decades that Amy spent as a military spouse dramatically impacted her view on life. She and her family have had the opportunity to live in many places and experience different people and cultures. She credits this experience with her ability to talk to nearly anyone she meets.
Amy draws on her experience and education to serve small business owners, women, families, and veterans through financial planning. She enjoys making complex topics easy to understand so that others can feel empowered to achieve their financial goals.
In her free time, Amy enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband Shawn and their three sons. In addition to indulging her own hobbies of gardening, landscaping, and caring for her chickens, Amy can often be found in a deer blind or out in a field hunting with her husband. With three sons, Amy is always busy cheering them on, whether in their favorite sport of tennis, or just in their studies. Being a mom and wife are Amy's greatest joys in life.

Tiffany Lamb
Client Assistant
Tiffany Lamb joined the Galbraith Coleman Group in March of 2024. With a bachelors in Sociology from Baylor University and a robust career in fundraising, Tiffany brings extensive administrative skills and a passion for serving people and her community. She has served on many non-profit boards in Abilene including The Grace Museum, The Abilene Zoo board, CASA, Cancer Services Network, The Abilene Philharmonic board and guild, Young Audiences, Future Fund, Center for Contemporary Arts, Abilene Education Foundation, and the Junior League of Abilene. She has also served on the development committee for Abilene Heritage Square.
She has two children. Her daughter Carlee is a graduate of TCU and her son Nic attends UCLA.
Tiffany enjoys her role as Client Assistant, getting to serve our clients who are often old friends, meeting new people, and learning about Private Wealth Management.
In her free time she enjoys travel, volunteering, and being with family and friends.
Joshua Allen
Client Specialist
The most recent addition to The Galbraith Coleman Group, Joshua brings a strong foundation in Baird operations and client service to the team. He joined Baird in 2022 after graduating from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee with a bachelor’s degree in Business. He was recognized for his outstanding service and a commitment for going the extra mile for clients and colleagues with the 2024 Baird Private Wealth Management "Go‑To All Star". The award represents recognition for associates within Baird who exemplify the firm's core beliefs, including prioritizing clients, maintaining integrity, and ensuring quality in their work.
Joshua has since joined our team as a Client Specialist earning his Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, further strengthening his ability to support clients and advisors with professionalism and care.
Known for making every interaction personal, Joshua enjoys learning new things, connecting with new people and supporting clients to make their experience better.
Outside the office, his determination and work ethic show through as an avid marathon runner and motorcyclist.
